This was a brilliant shot by Kramarić that put the home team ahead of Hoffenheim 1-0.
Despite the lead being secured, Hoffenheim managed to keep the momentum going as they continued to score goals. In the 55th minute, Hoffenheim drew level with 1. FC Köln's goal, but this time, it was a penalty shootout. With 4 minutes left in the first half, Hoffenheim's striker, Christian Eberle, missed a fantastic chance to win the match, but he did not give up and converted the penalty to level the scoreline at 1-1.
In the second half, Hoffenheim continued to dominate the game and were able to secure the victory. The match went into extra-time, where Hoffenheim had a 100% chance to win the match. But unfortunately, 1. FC Köln's goalkeeper, Niklas Sturlson, saved all three saves made by Hoffenheim's defenders. The match ended in a 1-1 draw, with Hoffenheim drawing the points against 1. FC Köln.
Overall, it was a well-played and exciting match that saw both sides struggle for control of the game. While Hoffenheim struggled to find the back of the net, 1. FC Köln proved to be a strong team that could hold their own.
