Hoffenheim responded quickly, however, as they immediately launched a counterattack that ended up resulting in a goal. In the 66th minute, TSG Hoffenheim's Filip Kramarić scored his second goal of the season, equalizing for his side and sending them into extra time.
In the extra period, both sides continued to create chances but failed to convert them into goals. After 90 minutes of play, the match remained tied at 1-1.
However, in the 120th minute, Hoffenheim were able to break the deadlock once again. In a stunning move, Kramarić dribbled past three defenders before slotting home a shot from just outside the box to secure a point for his side.
Despite the result, both teams will be disappointed with how the game ended, given the number of chances they created. Nevertheless, it was a thrilling match that showcased the quality of football on display in the Bundesliga.
